COBRA SPORT WELCOMES MASTER CUTLER TO MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Cobra Sport recently welcomed James Tear, the Master Cutler of The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, to their manufacturing facility based in Sheffield for a guided tour with Cobra Sport’s Managing Directors Rachel Abbott and Peter Jarvis.

Managing director Rachel Abbott became a Freeman in 2015 and is one of a growing band of businesswomen in the organisation, which aims to support and promote manufacturing in the Sheffield City Region.

The Company was set up in the 17th centaury to promote the standards and quality of Sheffield manufactured steel products, and now has over 400 Freemen who must be senior executives or directors in a 'relevant' organisation.

Over the past decade Cobra Sport have seen accelerated growth and the business as a leading manufacturer of stainless steel performance exhausts.

Rachel Abbott, Managing Director at Cobra Sport commented on The Master Cutler's visit.

"We were honoured to welcome the Master Cutler and have the opportunity to show him some of our latest innovations which ensures we are pioneers in our industry and also to discuss future manufacturing opportunities."
